Thank you so much for the work that you performed on my bathroom. The room looks entirely different and much improved. The work that you did was first rate and the products you used were top of the line. The swanstone wall liner that you recommended is exceptional. It is very easy to take care of, very attractive to look at, and was by far the best product that I could have chosen. Thanks again Sincerely,
-Richard McNelis

Dear Lee:
Thank you for the marvelous job you did on my bathtub and sink. My bathroom has a whole fresh new look to it and I’m confident that the tub will no longer leak into my downstairs neighbours apartment. I appreciate the careful detail and the thought process you’ve taken to make my bathroom beautiful. I would highly recommend your company.
Very truly yours,

Mrs Smyth and I want to express our appreciation for the fine job you did on our bathroom. The work encompassed a lot of different aspects. Bathtub glazing, extensive refinishing of wall tiles, painting of upper wall and ceiling, of accessories and floor and construction of a new radiator cover and new bathroom shelf.
We feel the quality of work is splendid and it has been a pleasure working with you on this. Thank you.
Sincerely,
-Graham Smyth
Lee Swartz of Affordable Handyman accomplished what three other well known bathtub refinishing companies said was impossible. Two of my bathtubs are plastic, not fiberglass. One had a large stain, stripping the finish from the tub. I was told the tub could not be finished due to it being plastic. Lee, however, guaranteed me it could and sure enough, refinished the tub, totally removing any trace of the awful spill stain.
The second tub had a crack through it. Again, I was told the entire tub had to be replaced at a cost that was well over what Lee quoted for repairing and refinishing the tub. Though running into a few technical problems, Lee devised a way to correct them. The tub has been repaired, refinished, and looks great.
Lee also repaired my fiberglass shower. I was impressed with Lee’s professionalism. He always returned my calls, was quick and efficient, very knowledgeable about his field, and quoted reasonably.
Would I recommend Lee?
Definitely!
Sincerely
-Mrs. Kim Rivera-Yurcheshen

I would like to commend Lee for an outstanding remodeling job that was done on my Bathroom. His task included: tearing out the entire bathroom and starting from scratch. He reconstructed, rebuilt, and insulated the walls, ceiling and floors; he removed a cupboard to enlarge the working place. He added a ceiling light/fan for ventilation due to having to seal the bathroom window. At my request, Lee repositioned the bathtub and toilet bowl to another area in the room which required him to gain assistance from a plumber to re-pipe the bathroom. He installed a new bathtub/shower kit with an easy access panel for maintenance if needed, a new toilet bowl, and a new sink. He rewired the electrical elements for the medicine cabinet and light fixtures. Lee did extensive work in refinishing the walls and rebuilding the floor which was uneven. His finishing touches included painting the walls white down to the baseboards. The added touches were the installment of the wooden accessories i.e. sink cabinet, medicine cabinet, towel racks, soap dish, and toothbrush holders.
The restoration process took about three and one half (3 1/2) to four (4) weeks. His punctual and efficient work habits made it easy for me to recommend him to others for remodeling work. In fact he will be back to do more work.
Sincerely yours,
-Stephanie Anderson
Recommendation for Lee Swartz
Lee was assigned to do my kitchen installation by The Kitchen Brokers. My kitchen had never been remodeled since the house was built in the late 1940’s. Lee and his workers made an entire new kitchen for me. At one point it was gutted down to the studs. A wall and small closet was removed, then new walls, ceiling and flooring were installed. All new wiring had to be put in the downstairs, plumbing and heating ducts had to be removed. While all this work was being done, Lee set up my dining room table in the living room for me so that i could still have a somewhat normal life.
In addition to that work, he was able to help me get a lot of other projects done. I needed a new vanity, lighting and a ceiling fan installed in the bathroom. The vanity was moved from one wall to the adjacent wall which required more plumbing work and electrical work.
Water and dampness was a problem in the basement so Lee arranged for a french drain system to be put on the surface outside and internal rains with a sump pump inside. Then he painted the walls with a sealer. The basement glass block windows had no vents so ventilation was a problem and there was no way to operate a dryer. He arranged for new windows to be installed. There has not been a trace of dampness or musty smell since the basement was fixed. He has also installed a new laundry tub and faucet.
The old porch light had been improperly installed after a pat renovation so Lee got me a new light and also fixed the screen door latch that was always sticking. He spray painted both sides of my outside doors which has been discolored from being exposed to years of the former owner’s cigarette smoke. The look a thousand times better.
Lee was careful to keep his tools neat and out of my way and he even put plastic over some painting i had done to make sure it didn’t get marked up while the work was being done. He called me every day to see if I had any questions or problems and to let me know what work was being done the next day. I felt very well informed about the work that was being done in my house.
Everything looks great and i am very happy to have it all finished. Feel free to call me if you have any questions to ask about the work that was done.
